About Our Local Office

Right at Home of Lower Fairfield County is a locally owned and operated office of Right at Home Inc., a home care and staffing company providing care since 1995. We offer personalized non-medical, private duty solutions for seniors, and the disabled who want to remain at home during illness or recuperation. For seniors we provide an affordable solution to the concept of "Aging in Place."

At Right at Home of Lower Fairfield County "Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve." We do this by hiring the best quality caregivers for our clients. Our caregivers are carefully screened, trained, insured, bonded, and supervised to ensure the highest quality care and service. In addition, our caregivers must pass a vigorous competency test before they are hired.

Owner, David Sussan graduated from Rutgers University with an Ed. M in Science Education. David ran his own very successful business for the past twenty-five years. While searching for a new career, he became increasingly aware of the aging Baby Boomer population. He believed that a career in healthcare would allow him the ability give back to the community while making a difference in people's lives.

Staffing Coordinator, Jessica Lewis graduated from University of Denver with a Master's in Social Work, MSW. Jessica has been involved with many aspects of the social work profession inculding the legal aspects, case management and direct care of children and their families involved in the welfare system. She is pleased to be able to bring these skills to the ever growing field of Home Health Care.
